Spazzing Dragons = Crash :(

Post » Thu May 17, 2012 12:27 pm

Sooo now when I see a dragon, it's always flying in place and I have to avoid it. If I approach it, it will spaz in mid-air and crash the game. When I hear that whooshing sound of a dragon nearby I have to keep my head down for fear the game will crash if I look up. The game has kind of become "The Elder Scrolls V: Grassy Slide Show". Does anyone have the dragon crashing problem? I've only heard of them flying backwards.

I was just about to ask the same question.

I deleted my patch and install and re installed and downloaded the patch.

About 45 minutes in I noticed my first little bit of lag in the middle of nowhere but continued playing.

About an hour and 20 minutes to about 2 hours I noticed horrible lag outside of Riften, but I continued for 5 minutes and rebooted for the hell of it.

Started ps3 right back up, played for another 3 hours or so and noticed my first crack dragon (flying backwards, seizure like movement in the sky).

After shooting a few fireballs at the dragon I started to lag horribly (the kind that normally leads to crashing) So I shut my ps3 off.

During the entire time I explored, completed quests, reloaded a couple saves (playing around with different skills).

Edit: I forgot to mention that before deleting the patch I was crashing every 30-45 minutes.
