Third Person Camera Issue After Joining The Circle?

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 6:20 pm

After I got far enough in the Companions questline to become a [REDACTED], my third person camera view seems to have changed. It's more zoomed in than before when my weapon is sheathed, and is more centered when drawn. I don't fight much in third person, so all this is really doing is making it harder for me to admire my character and his awesome Wolf Armor. However, since this happened, I've also gotten a bit more instability in the game overall--two crashes in the quest at Ustengrav, the occasional heavy framerate stutter during one of the follow-up Companions quests. Has anybody else gotten a similar issue with the camera, and did it herald a greater number of seemingly unrelated issues for you?

I just learned how to fix this from a thread here today.

Hold down (pressed in) the right stick, then use the left stick to zoom in and out.

Well, don't I feel like a moron for not spending some time searching! Thank you very much, sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar.

sometimes this occurs if you are in first person when your forced to change into a werewolf for the first time during the companions quest.
