Throw Voice is missing files for most races : V

When you use the Throw Voice shout, you're supposed to be able to hear your character call out the insults. The audio files for this however, are missing for almost every race. Currently, IIRC, only the human races, male Orcs, and male Khajiit have any audio for the insults. The problem is, it's not just that the files are unassigned, they're completely missing. If you open up the BSA, they're nowhere to be found. How can something like this even happen? I am truly stunned that something like that could just be left out of the game. It's absolutely mind-boggling. As much as I hope this is resolved in a patch, the previous ones have given me no reason to believe it will be, which is a damn shame.

I suspect, that other voices are missing from the (PC) game, so that's why the game keeps recycling the same 5-6 voices for every character in the game.

I have doubts that I heard this many voices after 250hrs of play and almost everything visited and 95% of NPCs I have talked to:

I'm pretty sure my Dark Elf always says something in dragon language when I use that shout, I didn't think you were supposed to hear anything in English, but I guess I'm mistaken. Speaking of Dunmer voices, why do most Dunmer women sound mildly authentically Morrowind-y but all the men sound like medieval peasants?

Edit: guess my Dunmer question is answered by the fact that there are only two Dunmer voice actors. Oh my.

well that explains my problem. I was wondering why the Throw Voice wasn't working with my Argonian. Thanks for letting us know about this!

I doubt Bethesda will do anything about it though, at least we got modders who can do their work for them. :glare:
