So, wandering out in the wilderness I was set upon by 3 thugs. I killed them, and found a note on them calling me a thief and offering a bounty. Now, i've swiped a few things here and there, but i'm not in the thieves guild, and not really sure what this is about. Anyone else encounter this?

I got some thugs sent on me. The contract said Alvor the Riverwood blacksmith hired them, and he was the only guy I'd stolen from in-game and that's all I'd done to him.
