Hi all

At random moments (can take longer than other times) my Skyrim crashes my computer. I get a black screen, my monitors light turns orange (no more video card feed) and my music hangs. I have to manually shut down the PC and restart.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm running windows 7 64 bit with 560 Ti

And btw, it's different to crashed on desktop imo.
Our crash totally shuts down PC with monitor going black and nothing but hard reset helps.

I've noticed that this thing happens when I open big map, and click somewhere.
It crashed not on a map only maybe a time or two, so I just have a feeling that big map is a "risky" zone for this issue, but can happen, as I said, anywatime, but just might take longer.

I've experienced a similar issue, if appears to be an issue with the game map itself. So glad Bethesda checked for bugs before releasing...

I have the same problem, but not yesterday!

Same problem; My system loses the video signal, and I have to shut down, wait a minute or so & then reboot.
With me it's not the map (haven't opened the map yet), but reading a book.

Same here. I think it happens whenever it has to load the exterior world for me.
