Hello.

I wondered about training. In oblivion you could levelup 5 times each level a ability or armour at a trainer. So in short terms before levelling you should seek a trainer and level those points up els you would loose it? Is this as well in skyrim? Does anybody know if there is a smithing trainer as well?

Yes it's similiar also there are trainers for each skill 3 if I'm not mistaken.
