What exactly makes a thread official or unofficial? Always wondered that. Regardless, if I purchase D3 digitally from Blizzard does it pre-download or anything like Steam does or will I be stuck downloading it on release day (not that it would take too long).

You can do a pre-download. But it's slow, reportedly.

I'm going to a midnight release, might take my video camera. Anyways, this will be my first Diablo game, so I have no clue how to play this, besides watching some people play it.

I have my installer all ready to go. I got it from a third party supplier. Hope it will work with my account which I bought D3 on. So far it connected to the bnet server to update, so I'm guessing it's legitimate.

Maybe they expect most playing from SEAsia will be Americans/British/Auzzies/Kiwis. Still, they should put us in Europe! At least you can change it anytime.

Got my LE paid in full and most of my LE guide paid off.

I got to hold both in my hands today, and holy cow, both are very hefty. They also have little raised bits on both, making them very detailed.

Can't wait until Tuesday. Thankfully I work the midnight launch, so I'll get it Monday night.

I have it pre-ordered and downloaded, ready to install the moment it releases. My friends and I are going to have a week long Diablo 3 marathon so it should be quite entertaining. My battletag is Nightviz1on#1695, though I'm running with a party of four so I won't be available to play for a while.
