Unrealistic Christmas Wishes

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2016 7:14 am

Greetings, all. :) Now I realise we all don't celebrate Christmas exactly or traditionally, and I don't really either, but I thought we might still be able to have a little bit of fun without getting into trouble. :P

At this time of year there are kinds of stories about what kids or advlts would like to get for Christmas, and not all of them are exactly easily fulfilled. So that's the idea of this thread, what would you like to get at the end of this year as a gift that's not really likely to ever come to pass?

For me, I've got two ideas-

First off, I'd like to have more room to work on my craft/hobby projects. I currently share a two bedroom apartment/flat with my sister and realistically that's not going to change any time soon. There's not a lot of room to really spread stuff out to work on things, unfortunately. There's also only a small patio area for working outside for doing things like spray painting or work that will kick-up a lot of dust.

The second.... maybe I shouldn't talk about, but I will anyways. Even though it's been something like two years, I'd like to know what happened with my ex-girlfriend. Why after being as close as we were (and the person I've been closest to ever) she just up and quit talking to me and shut me out of her life. I've tried my best to put it behind me, but I still think about her whether I want to or not, and still have strong dreams occasionally... :banghead:

Anyways, what about the rest of you? And I don't care if your wish is really outrageous. ;)

I want a 3 story house with a huge back yard, 100 inch TV, a really nice 2017 model 4 door sedan, and my own huge martial arts training room. I don't think that's asking for much. :goodjob:

I would like my own mountain top or island to go to whenever I wanted to get away from the world for a little bit.

A stable life.

If someone comes and tells me "Here is a remote mountain cabin with amazing internet and everything is self reliant, it's your home now." I won't say no.

But getting a new graphics card is also unrealistic at this rate. :P

If I could finally get this job I've applied for several times that'd be great. Finding another girlfriend would be awesome as well.

I'd like to think both of these outcomes aren't too unrealistic and could happen in the near future. I'm not asking for too much am I?

I would like for someone to wipe my memory of Firewatch, so that I can play it again as if it were the first time.

I wish for a good night's sleep, without being woken up many times be two teething babies.

Congrats on the babies, don't recall seeing you announce that, but then again I haven't been scanning the forums as much lately. Don't worry, you have 6 months at worst of the 3 hours of sleep a night, after that they'll start sleeping most of(if not all) the night through.

On topic: To win the lottery! I wouldn't even be stupid/crazy with it, just a house, new vehicle, and actually be able to buy a few presents for my wife :)

The gift of not being pestered by tone-deaf Christmas carollers would be nice...

But seriously if any of you guys wanna buy me an HTC Vive send me a PM. :D

Let's see, what else... Oh, a hoverboard. Literally just so I can be that one [censored] people know who owns a hoverboard. Hahaha.

A job at Bethesda composing music for their next game? :)

Awesome wish, but something that's always bothered me is how people cite that as one of the many Todd lies in comedy videos and such but you actually could climb to the top of that mountain. Didn't he look at the Throat of the World when he said that? You could reach the very peak.
