Is there a sneak button or a way to sneak in ES Arena? If not, is ther a way to increase the success of pickpocketing or lockpicking without getting caught. Without getting caught is the main thing I'm after... tips?

To steal, click on the hand until you see the fingers picking gold. You must build your character for thieving. High speed, agility, and luck are a must. More success comes with a higher level. Have you seen the http://www.svatopluk.com/arena/manual/?

No. Arena is simpler than the successive ES games.

1. Be a thief class character.
2. Level yourself irrespective of class.
3. Get Skeleton's Key (for doors, anyway).

Picking pockets is more of a humor item in Arena than a way to get cash.

the money is generaally only a few coins, but most of the time you get like a dirty hankerchief or something useless.

I just break the doors down on the houses that are surrounded by hedgerows so it takes a while for the guards to catch me. Works almost all the time and the thouse huge houses have a lot of good loot in them.

Just like real life!

I think we can credit Tolkien making Bilbo a "burglar" for the entire idea that thieves belong as a major class. It really doesn't fit the heroic mold all that much.
