I haven't played Oblivion in awhile and been out of the loop, but I was just curious since everyone is talking about a future TES V, are they officially going to make it or is everyone just guessing and speculating at this point?

Everyone is just guessing. It hasn't been officially announced.

Sadly, we don't know anything about TES V. We don't even know if it will ever be made. It's getting frustrating and people are showing their frustration more oftenly. Their was a cumulative speculation thread, but after going through so many without anything to anolyze or discuss at all, the thread got full of posts that had nothing to do with speculation, and so the thread was closed.

No...they're not going to make a sequel to a multi million dollar, best-selling, genre defining game.

Fallout sold better, so I am afraid that Bethesda will be focusing on Fallout more than TES now and in the future.

This thread isn't about TES5 being announced some time in the future. It's about whether TES5 been announced or not

Based on some calculations, I don't think we can expect TES V any earlier than 2012 or 2013.

What 'calculations' are those, please explain rather than just making a one line post that says nothing.

Well, I strongly believed that theory before he looked into it.

This seems to have run its course as the original question was answered.

I am going to reopen the 'Cumulative Speculation' topic once I have looked through and sorted it so discussion can continue there.
