Posted: Sat Jan 07, 2017 2:40 amA loading screen in Skyrim says "Tamriel's Fighters Guild has no presence in Skyrim. Instead, warriors seeking adventure and kinship may join the Companions, in Whiterun" which seems to imply it is still around. Just no presence in Skyrim.
