Had a bit of a look through Nexus and I couldn't find anything, so I'm wondering did anybody ever make a mod of her as a companion?

I assume from the deafening silence the answer is NO, not that it worries me I'll add it on the end of my ever expanding "to do" list. Just thought I'd throw the question out there as it would be pointless doing something that's already been done.

umm, No? but there is a Ranger companion mod, recent too ( 17 Oct 2014 )... it is voiced: NCR Ranger Companion Peregrin by Based of Drakeelvins Amigo Cafe tutorial Mod, perhaps this one could be used as a guide for Ranger Ghost.

I've already setup a fully voiced custom Dalek follower in the Dalek mod I'm doing so the nuts of bolts shouldn't be too much trouble, only possible snag would be wether there is enough vanilla voiced lines of her voice type to enable it to work.

Got a couple of custom robot followers I want to do next so it will be awhile before I get onto this.

Wow, a custom Dalek? with the same strange voice caricature? It sounds intriguing.

As for Ranger Ghost voiced lines, you may be in luck. I found this on the Fallout Wiki:

"April Stewart is an American voice actress who voices Mags, Lieutenant Haggerty, Private Christina Morales, Private Ortega, Ranger Ghost, Sergeant Reyes, Ranger Lineholm, Captain Gilles, Captain Marie Pappas, Raquel, Jacklyn, Liza O'Malley, Doctor Alvarez and various generic characters in Fallout: New Vegas."

Thanks very much for that, between all those voices there should be plenty to work with.

There is one already in NV but I don't think it has voice and it also needs Who Vegas to work.

I know you can get her outfit console or mods) but I wouldn't mind her as a follower. By the sounds of it she should have enough dialog.
