I've already been killed by 3 swarming giant scorpions..

How to get?

Science is 40 and repair is ..25 I think.

You need either a repair skill of 65 or science of 55 and repair of 35 with 3 scrap metals, two sensor modules and one scrap electronics. If you're playing on a pc and don't have the patience, you can console player.modav repair 40. That will raise your repair to 65 and you can fix him with no parts.

I am on the ps3.

So if I use all of my next level up points that will hopefully get my repair up to 40, that will be enough? If not taking a mentat to boost?

If You do not mind borrowing a Programmer's Digest and a Fixin' Things from the Nightstand beside Johnothan and Ruby Nash's Bed, and have (or take) the Comprehension Perk, Your characters Science and Repair will be 60 and 45.

If You can find and borrow the parts needed to repair ED-E, You can spend Your points from leveling up on other Skills.
