Hi,

I am not shure if this was solved before, but I want to know how is it possible to survive a shot in a head? The game is awesome don't take me wrong, but I was wondering this after a while I finished a game. Also, I found on internet that Benny shoot you twice, but I had to missed it in game.

So two questions:

a) What is in your opinion "way" the courier survived?

Did Benny shoot you twice?

Sure. Here in Brazil, we had an actor who was shot in the head and survived. Unfortunately his mind has regressed to a childlike state.

a) Who read All Roads know that: Benny is an excellent and experienced tribal fighter. 98% chances of a headshot with Maria be fatal, 1,5% chance of survival with sequelae and 0,5% without . Corrier is just a one lucky bastard, a wasteland legend.

Given that he survives a double headshot, the Courier probably should always have Luck=10.

Anyway there are documented cased of people surviving shots to the head, when the bullet(s) just zip around the inner surface of the skull, without doing too much damage.

So he was shooted twice after all?

Yes. There are quotes from several characters commenting on this, and I have seen an image of the Courier's head showing two healed bullet scars close together.

(Can't remember where, maybe in OWB).

Also Benny was using a 9mm pistol which has never been considered to be a powerful cartridge.

Now if Benny was using a 12 gauge shotgun you'd be playing Courier Seven - the guy who has to track down a missing parcel, not Courier Six who got jacked

Well, there is also possibility that Courier was wearing a helemt or another post-apo head gear to protect him, There is no mention in all game that you wasn't badass even before Benny's attack. Opinions?

In the cutscene where he shoots you, you're just wearing a normal hat and farmer clothes. Nothing else.

Honestly, he's just THAT lucky. Which makes it even more awesome when you go visit Benny at The Tops.
