so i was wondering if you had to choose either companion based on what you know about them currently who would you pick.

i would pick boone. hopefully we can get more then one companion though

Raul is a ghoul... i hate ghouls...

also it is confirmed, we get one human companion and one non-human. that is all.

How can you hate ghouls dude. proof ghouls are awesome

1- CHARON AND HIS SHOTGUN OF DOOM

2- GOB and his just plain awesomness

Charon is a brainwashed murderer and Gob is a coward, too afraid to stand-up for his own well being. both are worthless to me.

I'm all for Ghouls. I think i might just kill anyone who says bad things about Ghouls in New Vegas. Raul is my dude.

Raul, I've never liked humans in games where I can choose other races.
Why? Because humans are... Well... Boring...
Doesn't mean I resent them all the time I mean, I have some human friends as well but when I can choose between a 200 year old zombie looking thing and a serious human who's serious while doing serious things then I'm going for the fun squishy thingie any day!

i like ghouls... alot more then humans. there badass, long living and ussually have a sense of humor.

i just think boone would be better in combat. but if i meet an awesome ghoul dude then you can bet i will ditch boone in a second

Just like the last time this topic came up, I am going with Boone.

I am a fan of the older style ghouls. I don't care what they can do now, I tolerate it but I don't have to like it. So I don't want a ghoul follower that can us PA and carry hundreds of pounds and run. It's just not right to me.

I would take a third option, but there has yet to be confirmation of a non-human(or mutant human) follower as of yet so shucks. For now, i will side with Raul, because, he is a sidekick name Raul, and he has a personality that was described as: "Like Kiff from Futurama" in an early preview. Thus, making him comedy gold when i go rambling about my acts of glory.

They should really change it so that ghouls have their own kind of body structure by fallout 4, the one's in fallout 3 felt like they just took the human skin and re-textured if real quickly.

Boone, I love snipers and I don't like ghouls, except Gob, he's cool. B)

I'm wondering what Raul will use as his default weapons though.

Hes some kind of mechanic or robotics expert. Laser pistol, monkey wrench?

Now I got to figure out the melee weapon, either some kind of tool weapon like the tire-iron.

If there was a ghoul like Desmond, I'd love having him as my companion... or I mean being his companion, he would never follow anyone and doesn't take [censored].

But there isn't, and I haven't heard Rauls story yet (is he the Enclave vertibird mechanic from Fallout 2 or not?) but Boone's story we've heard and it intrigued me. I'd gladly help finding his wife (even though he's sure she is dead) and help killing the kidnappers.

Well in an early preview in Gameinformer they said Raul is being held captive by Tabitha for one reason or another, but other than that little is known about his backstory.

I shoot ghouls on sight, so boone it is!

Boone. It will be kind of interesting though, considering I am going to be a sniper character. I might ditch him if I find a companion I like more. Plus, What good is a sniper character if you can't tell him to hold up at one place and start picking off enemies he sees, instead of charging after them.

if Boones the Sniper, im the sniper to..kinda boring, So ill just give him....a shotgun or something so i can snipe
