Hey I saw its for Xbox, what about the PC users or the PS3 users?

360 only, for now.

we get shafted.

Because Bethesda decided it didnt care about 2/3rds of its fans.

Maybe its away to use Xbox as a guinea pig. If the DLC if full of bugs only what a third of the fans get mad? while the rest just to sit back and say "Glad I did not waste my money."

I think it's more that Microsoft offered Bethesda gobs and gobs of money to only release it on the 360 first, and not online or for the PS3. I have to say, I'm glad I bought it for the 360.

Yeah. That took forever. But I guess if we want top quality then we have to wait.. WE can wait for the 360 users test it out and they can whine and complain like they do online ALL THE TIME> MUCHO LOVE! LOL!

Are you freaking kidding me? OK I have calmed down now, I am sure they will release it for the PC eventually. Now that I think about it, it’s a good idea to let the Xbox players find any bugs. I also bought a new PC strictly for this game. Because as a die hard fallout 1, 2, and, tactics player, I new PC was the loyal decision. Correct me if I'm wrong. DLC will be available for the PC eventually right?

It'll remain "exclusive" for awhile, Ms money is just worth more then our paper money.

It's not because they don't care about the fans so much as they do care about money, and the idea was to sell more Xbox copies of the game and therefore more Xbox DLC, so there's a deal in place where Microsoft gives Bethesda a few extra bucks and everyone wins. Also, I doubt it's 2/3rds exactly. PC gamers don't generally make up for a full 3rd if we're talking Xbox/PS3/PC gaming.

Also who's fault is it? They announced before the game came out that the DLC would be exclusive, so... if you had an Xbox360, you had the choice to buy it for that platform. If you only have one or the other (understandable, Consoles are expensive, especially for PC gamers that are sinking $400 or more a year into upgrades to play new games), or are some really devoted fan that believes they can only have one system and owning the other is the same as treason, well... Bethesda didn't make that decision for you.

Anyway this is an excellent reason to wait for the GOTY or whatever collection edition will be released a year from now. Maybe by then the modding community has undone the overpoweredness of the levelcap increases too.

I'd say that 360 owners make up about 2/3 of the new vegas player base. PS3 + PC = about 1/3. Also it's easier and faster to release it on only one platform. If Fallout 3 is any indication, PC and PS3 owners can expect the DLC in about a year.

If that was the case the modding community wouldn't be thriving as it is.

Either that or New Vegas has a player base larger than Call of Duty (highly doubt it).

Just because the modding community is thriving doesn't mean it is big.
