Does anyone else think that Dead Moneys art looks better then the Fallout New Vegas Cover art.

The card with the Skeleton on it looks really cool, and instead of Dead Money It would have said Fallout New Vegas.

and the chip in the right side should have been the platinum chip.

does anyone agree this would have looked better then the actual cover art ?

Can you provide a link to the Dead Money art? I haven't seen it because I haven't been following the DLC news. (PC)

Not really... I'd rather have a picture of Yes Man or Hoover Dam

No, I like having a Veteran ranger intimidate me as soon as I lift the box off the shelf, reminds me not to follow Caesar.

Dead Money's Cover art could have been way better.
A card with a skeleton on it.
How original.

But a soldier's close up is the "Falllout Cover"

Maybe it should have been a Royal Flush with House, Kimball, Caesar, the King and Benny.

I think one cover art for each ending would be cool. For instance:

One of the NCR at the Hoover Dam with a group of soldiers raising the NCR flag at the fort (like the US Marines on Iwo Jima).

One for Caesar's Legion with them marching into New Vegas en masse with Caesar at the front of his army with a soldier holding his battle standard and Legate Lanius standing next to him.

One for Mr. House with a view of New Vegas and the surrounding Mojave from the Lucky 38 with Securitrons visible on the Strip.

The last of the bunch would be a picture of the Courier wearing a duster with Yes Man standing next to him as they look out over the wastes from a ridge. The shot would be from behind to make sure that the Courier would be as generic as possible.

Each would be separate from the other. In other words, you could buy one of four games with different box art on each. Obviously they would have the same game and everything, just a different cover.

All this is making me want to make an example of what I'm thinking about...

I don't really like dead moneys art. It's completely irrelevant to the plot.

But do you agree it would be a better fit for the games cover art.

It wouldn't be consistent with the rest of the Fallout series.

Nah, I think a far shot of The Strip from off in the Mojave might be cool and more appropriate. I mean, even from The Fort, it's possible to see The Strip (Or at least the Lucky 38)

As long as there is a soldier in it, a Ranger or Centurion.

BEGONE SATAAN! Didn't Fallout have a T51b helmet, and FO3 had a T45d helmet, I don't know about 2 or Tactics. The Ranger is NVs version of that.

Eh, Fallouts looks dated, so it's hard to say how I feel. But with F3 and FNV, the cover art just screams 'SHOOTER', granted it does involve guns, there's so much more to it. (Lets not get into any debate about F3 and FNV and stick to the topic in hand) I think a midground needs to be established, something that explains that guns and bullets are just a part of New Vegas and that it has alot more to offer.

It's kind of a tradition ;) So of course Fallout New Vegas had to have a badass soldier, although not in power armor this time.

Then it should have had a Badass soldier with a card like that attached to the helmet.

idk, dead money's may be more "symbolic" i wouldn;t know because i haven;t played it or anything

but if all the previous fallouts have had images of the main good guy elite soldier, then i say continue on with that

Not "good guy elite soldier". Just "elite soldier". Fallout 2 has the Advanced Power Armor belonging to the Enclave, they were certainly not good :)
