Caesar's Line of succession

Ok, Lanius is clearly said to be Caesar's successor, should Caesar die.
What if they both die? Who's the next Caesar after them? I have a feeling it's Lucius, but I'm not sure as I haven't finished NV with both Lanius and Caesar dead.

Where does that creepy guy go after Nipton? Now that I'm at war with the Legion for attacking Bitter Springs I'd like to go put a bullet in his head.

Creepy guy from Nipton meets you in Vegas to give you the mark of Caesar I think ? If you skip Nipton and go back to talk to him after the mark is given to you I think he mentions that. So If you haven't got the mark yet as soon as he makes his offer shoot him down like a dog.
The creepy dog man in Caesar's camp is creepier imo, shoot him too

Spoiler I have to point this out so the Legion didn't attack Bitter Springs it was the NCR the Legion is actaully allied with the Great Khans

I'm fairly sure he means Boones companion quest.

Well i'll have too redo that quest because i don't remember them attacking it after i do Boone's quest with the dinosaur or is there another one.

Spoiler There is another quest where you take Boone to Bitter Springs to confront his inner demons. He was part of 1st Recon during the ambush at Bitter Springs where the NCR killed Khan women, children and wounded.
