2nd time playing through

I'm finishing up my first play through the game and I want to start over doing different things and avoid repetition as much as possible. Aside from the obvious things like choosing a different faction in the main storyline, is there anything else I can do to avoid getting the same quests being thrown at me? Thanks.

Each faction has it's own quests but the basic early quests are the same. I'm 6 play throughs, and I have everything pretty much memorized now!

id switch to an opposite faction to what you were with (ncr? be legion, House? be yes man, legion? be ncr) to keep things stirred up, keeps me entertained

Ive finished around 7 playthroughs, though 2 of those were nothing but MQ and MQ related things. OT: Ive found it kinda hard to keep away from things I would normally do, through habits, I tend to do many of the same things over and over again. As far as not getting bored through repitition, I think, as well as the other posters in this thread thus far, choosing and siding with a different faction MAY be your only hope to it.

It's best to do the early game quests each time, but you can still manage without. You'll be weaker and it'll be harder though. You lose out on a lot of level ups by taking a shortcut.
