soooo where is a good place that I can set up and use as house... has a bed, containers, and possibly a water source like a sink or somethin' ... are there specific places that I can designate as my own or you I just basicly squat there and just leave your stuff... right now I leave all my stuff at Doc Mitchell's house in a Gun Box... I am ready to move out ... time to get my own place ... lol

Victor's shack(he never goes inside) in the South of Goodsprings is a good early house, got 2 ammo boxes and a desk to store stuff safely in, a bed for sleep and a sink for nonirradiated water.

i stay at novac but about to move to the BoS safehouse. Just got the key and working on getting the NCR safehouse key. But there is plenty of houses that are abandoned and stuff so just look around and see whats best for you

Victors place, the shack to the right of the Yangtze memorial*, the police station south of Primm*, Hotel hell* east of the police station.
Nipton, any of the places south of nipton*, the prospectors den~., any of the countless ones around NV*, jacobs town chalet's.

Any area marked by a * has a spawn location and some areas spawn quite tough critters / npc's at low levels every couple of days so be warned.

The prospectors den marked ~ will after being ceared have a trader spawn as well as other non hostile npc's, so food items and others may go missing from safe containers.
So stealth kill everyone but the merchant if you wish.

I call Wolfhorn Ranch my home as I love the location and the view.

Best early game house is Lone Wolf Radio; it's on the left side of the map as you go down the highway towards Primm. Fast travel point that puts you directly next to an empty, unowned bed and containers.

I prefer something more grand like Helios ONE personally but that's just me, I guess Wolfhorn Ranch and Victor's Shack are good too. :tongue:

What about Raul's shack?

Best place is in the main Brother Hood of Steel bunker. Complete all the quests inside, then put your stuff in the footlocked right inside the entrance of the bunker. Its next to Paladin Ramos's terminals.Then destroy the bunker and your stuff gets duplicated. They haven't fixed that glitch yet.

Right now I've been using the Novac Motel Room.

Prospector Den.

Once you kill the jackals in their a few days later the bodies despawn (YAY)
and are replaced, with little prospector buddies to liven the atmosphere,
a radio, safe containers, reloading bench, bed and a merchant who spawns
a few days after killing off the jackals! Hideout Ftw.

Theres also a really cool scavenger type hideout i found in the side of the cliff by
cotton wood overlook called something with "...........Prospector Camp" at the end.
that was good 2, 3 safe storage boxes radio, bed and your own pet dog, yay!

That hotel just a couple yards north camp McCarrion.

Bah, houses are for barbie dolls. I walk and sleep where I please.
