I wasn't an established member, however I hope to be one on this site;.However i'm sure Crytek will link the old database back eventually

I want my post count back too

While we're at it, why can't we change our avatars? I miss my kirby

yeah being able to change avatars needs to come back.

"linking" the old database wont be that easy as the backend isn't the same.
However - they could convert every post in the old database to be compatible with the new backend...

In any way - I don't see much of a reason to get postcounts back - I've seen people with a couple houndred posts already...

Remember the site just went up today it's crazy busy and slow, they're probably working out some of the bugs and stuff before fiddling with post counts, avatars, and sigs.

Meh. Post counts really aren't that big a deal. And I'm not saying that just because mine was low. Lol

Only trolls concern themselves with post counts. I'd much prefer some other means of identifying helpful/active members.
Unfortunately the vast majority of people who worry themselves with this kind of thing use it instead as some sort of mistaken affirmation of self worth, fawn over high counts like they're reflective of status/seniority, and actively engage in troll-like interactions for the simple purpose of bumping their number accordingly.
These people need to be weeded out and removed imho. Please DO NOT reinstate post counts, and in fact remove them entirely. Cheers.

I suggest we don't get our post counts restored. There is no real reason to want it back other than to satisfy your ego.
