I don't believe sniper rifles should be used that way. However I have done that a few times when I had no other weapons. Snipers are best when scoped, like most other guns in Crysis. That's what made Crysis so great to me. Most other fps games you can just spray and pray but in Crysis aiming helps A LOT , especially at longer distances. Can't wait for Crysis 2.

You are doing it wrong. And this map is too.
Sniping means going recon, gathering information about the enemy from long distance without even being noticed.
Sniping means helping the friends out when they are going assault from a long distance. Or just taking a few enemies out without getting yourself killed in the process

It's taking the wind and the gravity into account for you to get a succesfull hit from up to few hundreds meter to a few kilometers.

But as for your aiming skills, quite nice man. Good job!

I liked it - shame you cant "quick-scope" in Wars

i want scope as a must... else the damage is gona be to hectic. itl just be iritating game then instead of skill... if 2 ppl have that gun they just aim at som1 1 each and he dead. but if u need a scope he stil has chance... its just more balanced with scope as a must.

It's called noscoping, and lol, I never saw someone doing that in Crysis wars, this is mostly used in CoD.

Noscoping is so much fun to do in wars. Especially when you run around a corner pop someone right in the head and the person is like WTF

best snipe is elevated, using low profile prone, possible relocate, then re-engage, single shot high velocity, recon/scout/cover fire, no point in single shot high powered rifle in that enviroment Soz But Not My Style, Or real experience

if he gets better at noscoping he can probably beat you with a scope. better reaction time.

I'd much rather strength punch if I was that close to an enemy.

(if he gets better at noscoping he can probably beat you with a scope. better reaction time.) without getting too seriouse, a good sniper would be at a siutable distance, and vantage point so as not to be seen, but that is only according to actual military training, and not gameplay, I wish you many hours of happy noscoping my friend.

Well for that map thats the way you snipe but for any with a distance, scopings better. But at least on crywars no scoping has a little prodictability, unlike cod (which i hate)

I don't like that kinda gameplay... I like tactical gameplay and team work not stupid 1 vs 1 to prove you are a pro or just to fight against a guy with aimbot!

That close quarters 1on 1, at that distance might as well beat the crap outa each other, winner pops one in losers head lmao. dont seem too tactical to me, but each to thier own

i second that, and noscoping is very useful, ive killed ppl noscoping wit a sniper in long distances too, greatly improves your aim, and the guy in the first vid has HORRIBLE aiming. OK fine not that bad, but i could still raqe him, just give me a laser and DSG1 lol. and noscoping is best with a laser

and noscoping is for improving aim and reaction time, its for close range, and its not really sniping, its just utilizing the sniper to create a deadly close range weapon.

But its only deadly if u have good aiming, the guy in the first vid is acceptable, but kinda stupid, i mean, that hideNseek part from opposite sides of container was pretty stupid, and he's a lucker lol, getting 1 hit kills without headshot, and not getting killed from a shot without armor lol.

I agree. ^^ I have no scoped people without a laser that were in midair jumping off the lower platform, while im on the sniper roof on steel mill. Boom, headshot!
