Wait, are you talking about the one where there's a terminal demanding voice input from three people for a manual override? Because you can find holotapes of those three people, throw them into the terminal, and use the elevator to skip the confrontation with the Mechanist.

Yeah, I felt all poopy about that. Thought to myself.. "Alright, a back door for people that have master hacking so we can skip a huge chunk of fighting." .. Nooooope. just a bit of xp for those that have master hacking and a huge let down for people that didn't build a fighty character.

Really? wow, so you can skip it if you don't have a fighty character? What are the three holotapes because I obviously missed all those. .. or picked them up and just blanked on any reason to use them.

I guess I did pick all those up.. Just had completely forgotten about the elevator by that point. That's a really great thing to know though. I had a pretty hard time with that last battle, I can't imagine going through it with a totally non-combat type character.

I found it annoying that you needed Master Hacking even with the three holotapes. Had to go and fetch Valentine to help me, then fetch Ada again to follow me for the finale.

for some people (on ps4) the game crashes repeatedly by the normal mechanist fight. the holo tapes are the only way/workaround then to complete this level.
