That being said, I love the features added to the base game like this, New Vegas fell well short of that I think, most of the DLC's really only included a few viable choices of weapons/armor that you'd keep, where-as this DLC has made a huge impact on the game, I'm still quite pleased with my purchase.

Not really what I play rpgs for so I'm hoping future dlc includes more far harbors less build a buddy.

Narrative driven RPGs, in fact narrative driven games in general, have gone the way of the Dodo bird.

Expansive open ended, open world is where its at. I for one am glad Bethesda fully recognizes this now.

Geez. First of all, it's not like Fallout changed dramatically like how Saints Row series went.

Secondly, for a 10 bucks, this is very well packed content. I can show you the so called DLC from another games that costs or totaled up to 10 bucks but contains less

Robot Wars and yep loved it! Imagine two robot's letting loose in an arena with fatmans!

Ehhh, I can't say narrative-driven games are really going anywhere, especially when you can make the case that Fallout 4's main story is just as or more story driven than New Vegas. I do agree that any of NV's DLCs have Automatron beat in story, but none of them offer as great a new feature as the robot building. In fact, none of them really added new features at all - you'd go through the storyline, get some new gear, and that was that.

I think the DLC is pretty awesome, it adds a lot of potential for future play, love the guns, love the dungeons, love the dialogue, really love the robots

Personally, I didn't expect any plot to happen here, just workbench for robots appearing out of the sky and only building robots. Turns out there's plot and some new stuff to have, so I don't know why complain. Could be worse.

The subject 'robot' is the most boring I could ever imagine. God I'm disappointed.


It's just as interesting as cars and football. I use neither of them.


But I paid for the Season Pass, so I hope I might get lucky with the next DLC.

It doesn't matter to me. Call me old or whatever, but I felt that back in the 1990's and early 2000's we got VALUE for the video games we purchased and got things for free in patches and only had expansion packs sold.

I don't care if it's $10 dollars (USD) at all. I have thousands of dollars (USD) saved in my bank account that I can purchase as many DLC's as I want, but I will not participate in this and spend my money to purchase DLC's that don't even extend the video game world map just a little bit or take you to another par like the Far Harbor expansion pack.

The DLC actually took me by surprise. I won't spoil it, but good on Bethesda for, I think, listening to one of the many complaints fans had. Things are looking up for Far harbor!

And for 10 bucks--I might buy it.

Nailed it. The Fallout New Vegas DLC's were a blast to go through, but once you beat them that was really it, you'd carry back with you the one or two cool outfits or weapons and that was that, this first DLC we have gotten has already shown us how much of a lasting impact it's going to have on the base game and it is a huge one.

Being that you say you're 60, you'd know that really in the 90's and 2000's we didn't get patches. The games were pressed and that was it. Maybe they came out with a revised version of the game but there were no patches. A bug/glitch in the game was there forever. You are getting things free in patches with FO4 (if you played the game you might actually notice it) as they've added settlement items and are overhauling the survival mode. Idk where you get off expecting free content really. That's pretty rare these days and it's usually given as an apology for some other shortcoming (aka GTA online). I have zero desire to play the witcher that you continuously site so I can't comment on that but other games have a reason to give away added content for free. They [censored] up somewhere.
