Well done Bethesda, you screw it up - Automatron DLC

Why make Lone Wanderer perks when Bethesda assume everyone IS and WILL be using companions????

WRONG !!!!!

I am using these perks and by being forced without option to dismiss my companion I am now over encumbered, taking more damage and reduced own dps.

If actually companion could bring some value, they are useless.

Freaking Joke

EDIT: My character is successful because I build my character around perks that benefits playing without companion. By being forced to play with a companion i am a sitting duck and struggling badly. Bethesda this is a real issue and since you do not offer (nor i ask) skills refund, this should be looked at.

What did you honestly think the purpose for building robots was going to be?

I dont know for how many and I certainly couldnt give 2 damns about it.

The game should be made in a professional manner with respect to other people play-styles.

He's right though. I imagine that for a player like him who likes to solo, a DLC that is not only based around the idea of robotic companions but also forces you to take those companions with you in order to progress must be a real pain in the ass.

Try having full strength perks and being over encumbered while wearing power armor because when i use it it reduces my carry limit 50 points. Yours will go away, mine won't, ever.

Like I said. Bethesda have no respect to the other people play-styles. Time to do something about it.

What's he right about? That the game isn't made in a professional manner with respect to other people's play styles?

Are we joking here?

This is pathetically egocentric of you, friend.

They built a game that allows a wide range of styles. So because one set of perks is less useful to a particular build than others, they are disrespectful?

I honestly don't even know where to start to unpack the depth of vanity on display here.

With Lone Wanderer i take almost half (45%) less damage. Can carry 150 more (couple good weapons, lots spare parts) and inflict extra 25% damage. So yeah it is very useful to me.

Sure, it's useful. I prefer solo adventuring, too. :tops:

But it tells you what it does, and Automatron won't force you to have a companion forever more -- and really it also told us what it would be, more or less. So, while surprise, even annoyance, at that situation is fair, you went way over the top with all that angry talk of disrespect.

Lone Wanderer ain't permanently invalidated. You'll be on your lonesome way again in a matter of hours.

It's not like the purpose of this DLC was some big secret. Typical case of user error being blamed on the product.

Robots aren't just there as companions, you can make an army of them and use them as settlers also. On top of that the next DLC will add the ability to make/lose caps from betting on foxy robot boxing as well.

You missed a point in here.

I want to enjoy the expansion.

I am well done with the game 3 months ago. And I only come back purely for new expansion adventures. Playing without certain skills makes it difficult. Surely, I will be free to play solo later on, but for me there is no later. Once I am done with this expansion I will be playing something else till another expansion appear. Trust me, I got better things to play that this game, but there are annoyances that cant be purely skipped and forcing me to use companion further is ruining my experience.

No, I didn't miss any point, but you doubling down on yours proves mine.

Those decisions are all on you. That's the bed you made in a game that merely gave you the option, plus a crapload of others.

Bethesda doesn't disrespect you, but you clearly disrespect them -- and for things entirely out of their control.

Like I said, way over the top.

No, only one. You only need a robot companion for the last quest.

I play religiously as a Lone Wanderer and I still think you sound like a joke. There is one and only one quest where you are forced to have a companion who negates the trait effect. Using this to make a "Bethesda doesn't care about my playstyle!!11!" issue is ridiculous.

What is out of their control?

What you talking about?

They taking mainstream player base play style habits and they making expansions or DLC's around it without considering other people.

What decisions are on me?

I am playing game the way the game allows me to - that was the purpose of it isn't it? And my fault is that I am failing now? How so?

I got 3 skill points which are NOT WORKING !!!

Who implemented those skills? Devs. So what is out of their control?

Dude just...get out of my face.

It's one mission, you'll live.

I played the whole game without that perk, it's not that big of a deal.

Did you really expect a dlc revolving around companions wouldn't affect the perk?

Last quest? I started the freaking game with rescuing robot from bunch of other robots and he got assigned to me as FN companion. I got lots of valuable weapons with me which taking most of my weight and I have to drop most of them because I cant move properly.
