Posted: Wed Mar 30, 2016 6:38 pmUse the Command function to make them pick stuff up manually and no companion will ever run out of carry space. Like I said before, I cleared 2,350 lbs of stuff off Piper when I traded her out for Curie.

Posted: Wed Mar 30, 2016 11:04 pmI've made a Sentry at 550, but you can't really take them with you because they get stuck all the time. My protectrons max at 420 I believe., but so slow.

This. they will pick anything up you tell them to no matter how encumbered they are.

Posted: Thu Mar 31, 2016 12:34 amI minimize the slowness of this method by rushing through the building, killing everything then backtracking commanding the companion to pick up the heavy stuff like pots, hotplates, shovels, microscope and of course corpses. Robots do have an advantage in that they don't have a pick up animation.
