Someone told me there is a Beth confirmed rumor that you play only as Nick in Far Harbor because of radiation. Has anyone else seen anything about this?

Nothing has been stated to that effect.

If we can survive in Glowing Sea, we should be able to survive in Far Harbour. Perhaps we'll get some sort of special stimpak that protects against radiation. In any case, I wouldn't worry about it.

Who is this someone that told you and where is his/her source?

I really, really, really doubt Bethesda would force us to play as someone else for an entire DLC. Hell, I doubt they'd ever make us do that.

That seems very unlikely. Very interesting, yes, but also unlikely.

Thanks. It was a co-worker who stated that they saw it in an interview. Had a feeling it was bologna.

No such thing. The quest is started by visiting Valentine's agency and probably speaking to either Nick or someone who's searching for that woman. I doubt we would play as a companion, that just... makes no sense.

Aw man, that was your chance to demolish him! You could have shown him links and posted bullet points and whatnot which would then lead to personal attacks and dev bashing. Then your boss would come over and lock the thread!

...

I'm messing around. :P

I could see Nick wanting to come along with the SS. I mean, the guy is like a metal grandpa and all, so he'd want to go and make sure we're okay or something.

Or he'd just want to go to solve the case.
