I just want to take a moment and say I like that in Oblivion you could have more than one follower and have a little war party going, please keep this and don't be like FNV and only have one humanoid follower at a time because that no fun for the team players out there :disguise: and maybe have a "friendly fire" on or off option because my Oblivion A-team has a tendency to jump in front of my blade or hammer or whatever I'm using in mid swing and we lose more good men that way. Thank you.

Yeah that would be nice, if it's possible with the new engine for more NPCs walking around without lag then I say go ahead.

Nope, don't want it.

I'm a control freak and don't want anybody in my way when I'm in melee, nor charging into combat and blowing my surprise attack, nor attacking me because I stink at mouse manipulation and stab them 3 times in the back.

"By Azura, by Azura, by Azura!!!"

Follower#1: "It is the great champion of Skyrim! I am your biggest fan"

Follower#2: "Do not listen to my twin brother -- I am your greatest fan"

"Anyway, I guess who is greater isn't important. Our father, who lived in the Imperial City in Cyrodiil sent us to grow up here Skyrim. We've been following you for some time now. Is there anything we can do for you?"

Double your pleasure, double your pain

Unless it's three adoring fans backing me up, the "companions" that Bethesda is known for just typically get in the way. If anything, they take a couple of hits, yell nonsense and then die anyways. This is honestly a mechanic I would not expect to see implemented in Skyrim (aside from what Oblivion has already established with escorts/body guards). But who knows, it really depends on how Bethesda were to implement it. I would prefer Bethesda stick to the core features though, mainly the sole single player experience.

Uh, whoever said you had to have them in the way? Just don't hire them. :P

there should totally be an option for the people who want multiple followers, and if the people prefer the lone wolf fighting style then they there not forced into it.

Please make the NPCs smarter, I mean in FNV when you are trying to sneak your follower just runs into your enemies and start shooting!

You know you could change their tactics for them to wait for you to start shooting before they shot right?

Unless Bethesda's new engine has made leaps and bounds in AI then I doubt followers will be any more useful than they have in previous Bethesda games. While I do agree with having multiple followers I personally would not use the feature as it would probably be completely pointless and I'd just end up dismissing them or not using them altogether.

Do you want to collect five adoring fan each time you play Skyrim?

I greatly agree on this :D They need to add a crap load of followers though. maybe a six slave while their at it xD

i mean, of course, slavery did exist back in medieval times... though they did not live for very long; specially under Vlads control. bwhahaha

I just hope they improve your control over companions. Even though New Vegas improved on this a lot, the AI was still more annoying than helpful. I hate babysitting my companions.
