Skyrim and Steam

Seeing as Bethesda were the publishers for New Vegas and this required steam activation to play, will the same be expected for TES V?
I understand that the game is still a long way off and I'm sure there's no definite answer, but I would like to know what u guys think... Do you think steam would be mandatory to play this game and should it / should not be?
Personally, I love steam. It keeps my games up to date, means I can chat to friends whilst playing and best of all, if my CD gets scratched or I lose it, I don't need to worry cos I can play without the CD and can re-download it free of charge (my morrowind CD got scratched and I had to buy a new one).
Needless to say, if the game doesn't require steam activation but will be available on it, I would still buy it collector's edition. To me, having the game on CD with the box, manual and all the goodies that come with the collectors edition is more worth it ^___^

I am guessing the game will use SteamWorks - just by looking at New Vegas it looks like Beth are now using Steam to publish their games on the PC platform.

Steam is the best.

I don't understand why you wouldn't agree like the rest.

Unless your friends list is empty.

Welcome to the forums. We already have a http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1148714-steam. I'd say it seems quite likely.
