anyone has any relevant information about enchanting crafting in general but specificaly about effects of armor on enchants and spells?
have not done extensive tests myself but seems using a spell naked and using a spell with full heavy armor dont change anything, or that I am able to notice (no logs).
and the enchants that come base line with the robes are learnable so I can just put them in heavy armor? I do notice them being weaker (on armor than the ones I have on cloth)... but that may simply be due tomy enchanting skill being at difrent levels?
I have a hard time believing I can be a full armor mage with no downsides but a litle less speed and more stamina sprint consumption.

also couple other stuff I been wondering (and lazy to test cuz there are only 24 hours in a day and am currently testing my nord shield and sworder:
-does spell skill decrease mana cost like it used to, or something else or nothing at all?
-are paper/linen usable in later stages of the game (for enchanting)?
-what does M'aiq the liar want this time lol

do share any joocy stuff you discover related to spells and enchanting

I've noticed that the higher you get in a spell skill, the cheaper the spell related to that skill becomes. The only reason a caster wears robes is for the mana regen. If you get the enchanting skill high enough, and you put perks into it, you can get around that by putting mana regen enchants on the armor itself.
Currently running around with a mage in Light Armor. Kicking bums with double fireballs. >:D

thats what I needed to know... was worried cuz on my lowbe mage, the mana regen and mana pool boosting enchants that I done on robes were fairly higher than the ones I did on heavy armor, that must be cuz the enchants were done at difrent enchanting skill levels right?
I'll drop alteration then, its a fun school but no point wasting mana casting protection spells if I can get it passively and without timers.
