can you say if Glass weapon are really that inferior to daedric one? their biggest problem before was that they break easily, since weapon break no more well...

And what about the stats of the light versus heavy dragon armor is there a real difference this time? I remember in Oblivion with 100 skill in both light and heavy then glass had the same armor rating as Daedric.

My guess is the same as some others here. That there is a bonus we arent thinking of.

My guess is that dragon armor will have less magic regen penalty and can carry stronger enchantments or something.

Edit: I personally think Daedric armor looks WAY better.

Traditionally Conjured/Bound Armor is normally on par with normal Daedric Armor right? Has there been much word on how Skyrim's Bound Weapons and Armors compare to mundane gear?

Not sure if you've seen this, but looks like bound armour has been removed from the game. Not every weapon gets a bound version either (no dagger or mace I believe)

Both look meh to me.

Can't see my nord wearing any of those. Probably will stick to the DB and Thieves Guild suits.

They should have made at least the light dragon armour not that bulky. They all look like heavy armours to me, same like in Oblivion by the way.

Another thing I hope is, that we are not forced by the game to change our armours to the best ones at least on the medium difficulty levels. I like the light armours of the Legion and the Stormcloaks, might stick to them and improve them by smithing.

Yea, I'm bummed about pruning of the spell lists. Wasn't going to be my first run, but I an idea for an Assassin that walked around in normal cloths and summoned armor and daggers before combat. Meh oh wells, looks like that character is staying on the drawing board till I, or someone else makes a mod.

That is kinda odd but like some have said it must be able to have more bonuses to it then.

I might not be able to get it anyways but glass armor will be fine.

Only Dragon armor?
What in the name of god is the point of forcing you to take TWO perks to make inferior dragon armor.

My best guess is that it allows you to improve your armor to legendary quality

So in the end it would be a choice between being able to craft dragon armor which seems easier to make and being able to improve Daedric for additional 5% ( from the screenshots I assume that Dragon armor has base armour of 96 and Daedric of 100)

Or you could take 1 less perk and being able to improve daedric to 120 armor (which is equal to highest quality Dragon armor) but you would be able to have a set of 120+ armor a lot later in game

So it's 1 perk for 5 armor in mathcraft (for highest armor piece, so let's say it's 10 armor for 1 perk, seems like a good perk to me)

There could be more going on. Such as that Daedric set may have been improved while that's base Dragonbone. Heck, he may be posting the stats for light Dragonbone.

It is significantly lighter, for sure. Either way, the difference isn't that much and I don't like Daedric armor.

well it is not light version
it is heavy
those too armors (dragon and daedric) are same level, improved to legendary and do not have enchantings on them

I am going to guess that Dragonbone is a bit weaker because the material to makes it is easier to get? and please somebody tell me that you don't just find some daedric ore lying around, that would be horrible.

Could someone finally settle the issue about the advanced armor, are they light or heavy? how do they compare to the other traditional armor type?
