When you go down to the Midden to talk to the Augur of Dunlain, there is a room past him that has a black glove sitting on a pedestal. the glove is an artifact of some sort and It looks like it has the Oblivion symbol in fire on the palm. When you get close to it it says you can:

activate little finger
activate ring finger
activate middle finger
activate index finger

Nothing about the thumb though. When I click to activate absolutely nothing happens. I tried many combinations. I looked around the room and didn't see any hints.

Anyone have any idea what to do with this glove?

You need to put rings on each of those fingers. Rings that can be found on some dead guys nearby.

Ahh ok thanks. I didn't see any dead guys. Guess I wasn't looking very closely. Are they specific rings or will any rings that I have in my inventory do?

No, they have to be those specific rings.
