Eavesdropping on Cicero

For a Dark Brotherhood quest, I'm supposed to wait inside the Night Mother's Coffin to listen to Cicero and his ally. Well, when I step into the coffin, I am stuck motionless without the ability to do anything but open the pause menu. As I wait here, I hear Cicero approach and hum for a short moment, then it stops. All I hear is the sound of Astrid's husband hammering at the anvil in the distance. After a long wait, even this stopped.

I've tried reloading and stepping back into the coffin multiple times but every time is the same. I'm playing on a 360. Has anyone had this problem or found a solution? I can't advance in the questline if I can't complete this quest.

I haven't got that problem... But I do have a similar problem (360 as well).

Can't do a Stormcloak quest because no one is at the quest...

Well, I'm glad not everyone has to suffer this fate, but it's total [censored] that my game happens to be the odd one out. No choice but to keep trying and hope someone comes along with a solution.

Edit: To be absolutely certain, I've had my game waiting in the coffin unpaused since I opened this thread. Still stuck. For some reason, a trigger isn't being activated.

So when you go to hide in the Night mother's coffin which obviously you can't move in then wait until Cicero comes in and he will have a talk with the Night mother but she wont reply and instead talk to you and then the coffin opens then the game continues.

Well, ideally this would happen. In my game, once I enter the coffin, I'm stuck there for eternity. Cicero doesn't open it and even a wait of more than thirty minutes yields no change.

You have to wait using the T button.

Doh! I really hope you're right. Thanks, man. Going to try this right away.

Edit: Success! Thanks a ton!
