Hi all - I was surprised when a search of the forums for 'Velehk Sain' didn't turn up any hits so here we are.

I'm doing the College of Winterhold questline for the first time in a long while and realized that this opens the small questline for the pirate Velek Sain's treasure. I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble and my current PC is a 'good' character so the stealing may not be worthwhile but maybe freeing Velek is a justification for getting a reward? Seems doubtful based on his 'those kids are dead anyway' comment. Is he actually a nasty villain?

Is the treasure simple loot or is there something unique in the mix?

What am I missing - the page doesn't actually detail the treasure contents, does it? I see some items in the picture, but is that all of it? I assumed the chest has items that aren't pictured.

Not sure, but I think it's like those randomly generated Treasure Map treasures. Potentially useful, but nothing unique.

It's randomly generated. When I did the quest I got nothing but rubbish.

My PC is level 50 or 51 so there might be one good item in there. I'll probably give it a try just for the sake of having done it once, but yeah, not expecting much.
