This. None of those options are even close to "actors".

Max von Sydow ain't a real actor? He's a theatre legend for crying out loud and he has done a ton of movies. He's been acting in movies since 1949. NINETEEN-FORTY-NINE! That's 62 years. Name one currently known actor with that kind of experience. One of the only few I can think of is Christopher Lee.

What, no Dolph Lundgren as an option?

But in all seriousness, no. No movie could possibly live up to anything that closely resembles my expectations for TES.

But to those that said Christian Bale isn't an actor.... really?

You know there's an issue where you see AH-NOLD in a movie and use his name instead of the character's. Try putting a name on the list that A) I know, and B) I don't call their character by the actor's name.

I thought John Cena was a wrestler, not an actor...

The irony here is that wrestling=acting with physical contact.
I need to flee the country now before they erase me for speaking out against wrestlers. :bolt:

Anthony Hopkins would clearly play Esbern! Sam Worthington wouldn't be a bad lead...

but what am I say?! How can an RPG be a movie?!

Google furry. There you go. I would rather it be a male, not because it fits more but because Hollywood never makes believable female heroes. Or if they do they make one good movie into one terrible series.

I can imagine it now... guy with (clearly visible) plastic ears tapped onto his head, a guy with tons of green face-paint, a cat with clothes on and a lizard with clothes on...
"Skyrim the movie is starring Plastic ears, a random fat guy with facepaint! And Holywoods two most famous actors! A cat and a lizard... out on 11.11.11 (hundred years after Skyrim comes out)

11.11.2111, even better than this year! :D

AND they should get the Techno Viking to be Dhovakiin!!! :D

Assuming a Skyrim movie would be made, do you think they'd put a woman in the lead? Seriously, would Hollywood cast a woman to kill dragons and [censored]? Probably not, because you know, that's what (often) muscular dudes go around and do.

But anyway, should there even be a Skyrim movie, let alone a movie at all based on the Elder Scrolls? No, cause that would be a crime against humanity, as stated in the Geneva convention.

No.

EDIT: Hell no.  :shakehead:

Hell to the [Censored] [Censored] [Censored] [Censored] [Censored] [Censored] [Censored] [Censored] [Censored] [Censored] [Censored] [Censored] [Censored] [Censored] [Censored] [Censored] No!!!

Wow, I love how you assume that the Dragonborn MUST be male.

And I love how you assume that we assume the Dragonborn MUST be male (I'll admit it, roughly half my characters have been female on games where gender is an option). But I have to level with you I don't like the way Hollywood tends to treat female leads at all so I'd rather the Dragonborn be male.

Though I doubt Skyrim will be made into a videogame.

All wrong, it should be Johnny Depp (Dohvakiin) and Clint Eastwood or Tom Waits (Esbern)

Those posts about the list not being real actors were made before the OP edited the poll. When those posts were made, the first list only consisted of Dwayne Johnson up, and the second one had only the first four people.

Just thought I'd clear that up.

Sean Connery and Will Smith all the way. And if there is actually a movie... well... there won't be.

Could this be an epic movie as well as a game? I can't think of too many successful movies made from games, but if done right, this could be one. So we need to start off with a lead actor, and then maybe go into who is playing the Blade who guides him, Esbern.

Any other reasonable suggestions besides those listed above can be added later..

Any one else notice he spelled the main characters name wrong... its Dovahkin bro
