I personally think that the Crusader's Relics are the best in the entire game, due to the special abilities that come with it. What do you like?

Perfect Amber/Madness Armor with Sigil Stone enchantments. I do have to wait untill Heavy armor skill is 100 and have the armorer skill at 75+. Before that I'm clad in nearly all black street clothes enchanted with cherry picked Latent Sigil Stones. I like my unbreakable 85DR at level 10.

For weapons it's custom enchanted all the way. The uniques just can't compete with what can be done at the enchanting alter. It does make Azura's Star a "must have" item.

Customization is one of the big pluses for this game.

custom for me, the crusaders relics also get a vote because they have lots of special abilities and never need to be replaced.

I prefer custom enchantments.

For weapons, it is a custom enchanted bow. Since my char won't touch any weapon besides her bow, it absolutely positively has to get the job done.

For apparel, it is all about looks and always being properly dressed for the task at hand. This means a large variety of mostly unenchanted stuff to wear.

Of the special armors, my char prefers the light Arena raiment because of its pretty blue color. :dance:

My Orc wields a custom-enchanted claymore (elemental damages, plus weakness to same, plus a dash of soul trap to keep it charged). His enemies don't get close enough for him to need armor for defense.

What he does use is resistance to magic as enchantments to his clothes, so those pesky fire-ball-flinging mages can't get him from a distance. Archers are handled by running over to them so they switch to their daggers, so he's built up his speed for that, and not wearing armor helps.

Customized.... that's how I roll.

Crusader's Relics

Personally I prefer the Morag Tong Assassin armor set with the boots of the Olympian. That armor is simply badass for my character! And it looks great!

For weapons custom enchanted seems to be the best for me. Although Mehrunes Razor is pretty cool, as well as Dusk/Dawn fang.

Dragonsword of Laynlyn because it looks awesome. :wub:

I picked custom but I didn't really like the poll choices.

i think my favorite is the dark seducer armor (didnt get the golden saint armor) closely followed by the crusader relics and the third in line would be the Blades armor

When it comes to weapons, few things can match custom enchantments. When it comes to apparel, stronger enchantments can be found in loot and rewards compared to custom enchantments.

For weapons-- custom all the way. There's just nothing else in the game that can even begin to compete with what I can do at the enchanting altar.

For armor, I tend to go custom too, though there are some nice existing pieces with multiple enchantments (like the Escutcheon of Chorrol), and for exactly the right sort of character, the Crusader's Relics are not bad at all.

Like to wear leather cuirass, orc greaves, orc gauntlets, leather boots, hood, (looks awesome)

Also chaos/amber-armor/weapons are great too. Custom enchant all the way.

Grey Cowl of nocturnal, favorite weapon is Dawnfang/Duskfang+Personal armor.

custom i love to get sigle stones one had 125 feather on it right now i can carry 650 weight on my lvl 21 character :goodjob:

EDIT: rings are the best way to go if you want pre enchanted items. :foodndrink:

I hate the Crusaders' Relics, solely because the Divines deemed me unworth to wear them. I'm actually in the process of assaulting all the chapels (like Umaril did to Anvil).

To answer your question, I love the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal. Commit any crime, take it off, and pretend nothing happened.
