So, as many of you Bloodmoon-users likely know, there are 5 http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Bloodmoon:Ebony_Arrow_of_Slaying#Ebony_Arrow_of_Slaying located right behind Thirsk, that dish out a whopping 5000+ damage on hit. I have, in all of my years of playing Morrowind, not fired a single one of these beauties, simply because of their "don't wanna waste these" factor.

And there lies my question: what are some of the uses you have found for these crazy little arrows in Morrowind?

Well considering the only things you would use it for are bosses and considering I'd never use them to ruin the fun of a boss.

Well I rarely use them except for fun. But do not use them on the King in Mournhold. He has 100% reflect so shooting one at him is like instant suicide.

The *cough* boss fight in Tribunal. Bring Azura's Star, too.

This gives me a splendid idea! I'm sure it has been executed - it has to, but I just haven't seen it.

How about, say, dragging Adoring Fan on the top of the Dive Rock, giving him 100% Reflect Something-or-Another... and shoot him - as in YOURSELF- down the cliff? Too bad I haven't got the lust nor even equipment to play Oblivion right now. *sigh*

And yeah. Bring Azura's Star. I didn't. :(

"Also I always knew about the arrows, but just had time to get them yesterday [as I'd only read about them in the forums the first time -.-]. Yours,"
- Nelacayne, the All-Powerful and -Knowing Archmagister of the Great House Telvanni

So just brought them to my new lair, Telvanni Vault, and carefully put them on the table so that they really show. :I Never planning to use them or anything.

Use them to die with (don't shoot them at the frost giant...), or put them somewhere to look at.

Honestly, the only thing I ever use them for is decorative purposes. You might want to consider before using them to aid you in a really tough fight - it'd completely take the fun out of it, make everything too easy. Though it would be insane seeing
Spoiler
Gedna Relvel or Vivec or Gaenor or Almalexia
fall before your character to just a few arrows...

Lemme know if they actually work on Gedna - that wench has 600% resist magicka. I assumed they wouldn't touch her.

They would definitely be on my emergency hotkey, were it not for the Powerword:Reload already occupying that slot.
