Hey, since all the news about Skyrim is having the forums buzzing, I decided that I would start replaying my favorite TES on my brand new PC.
And since its on a 1920x1080p monitor, I decided that I should run MGE which worked fine on my NVIDIA GPU laptop.
But.. when I install the game, run it once, get out of the cencus office, and install MGE, it can't read my screen resolution, and crashes when try to change it.
This is very frustrating!
I am running a ATI HD5450 GPU with Catalyst 10.10 I think.
Hope you can help. ;)

Try to turn off the crossfire. There is something you should know and that's you can't have a resolution higher than 1280x960 in Morrowind even if MGE allow to have a higher setting. :)

EDIT: If you have a question like this one I suggest that you post your question in the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1159516-morrowind-graphics-extender-mge/ instead.

I'm quite new to ATI cards and GPU in general.. So what would turning off crossfire mean? Would it affect the performance in other games?
Why does the original game allow me to set the ress to 1440 or something? :s

I think the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CrossFire is similar to Nvidia's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nvidia_Scalable_Link_Interface technology and take a look of this picture in the game menu.

You can see it for your self and that's the highest resolution you can use in Morrowind.

I know I sound like a stupid little kid, but my Morrowind, allows me to set it to 1440xsomething, I'll try to post a pic, I'm installing the game ATM.
I tried to pic it, but it made the game crash, will try with my phone.

Yes I can see that and I think that's okay with that resolution if your monitor supports it.
