So I opened up morrowind yesterday and it was at 1024x768 even though i downloaded Mge xe to scale it to 1366x768, I've looked at other forums and nothing they said helped so I'm making my own thread. UPDATE: i fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling morrowind

you know, the only real purpose of Morrowind Code Patch Showcase.esp is to easily catch users who don't rtfrm and e.g. load both TR_Data.esm and Tamriel_Data.esm
(I know, nobody teach us how to use mash updaters so old TR mods are loading the TR_Data.esm master...)
Jokes apart, I think this may be not related to loading list, something I noticed in my system is when Windows updates it may change default behavior/permissions or executable programs,
check you followed the usual advices (e.g.install Morrowind out of protected folders) and/or try to set/run Morrowind.exe and MGE related files as administrator, maybe your Morrowind is currently not able to update the video settings in Windows registry...

Try to launch launcher with admin rights and set some resolution there (morrrowind stores resolution in the registry). Then set the resolution you want in MGE XE.

Probably, you should run MGE and Morrowind.eye with admin rights too.

Unless he has Morrowind installed in other than c and admin settings completely turned off, definitelly. Heck, even when running as admin it's a good idea to install the game Elsweyr.
