Some of my mods don't show up in game. Please help.

I go through the MGSO options and select the mods that are available, I then make sure that all of my .esp files are active from the Morrowind Launcher, I then go to MLOX to sort the load order. I then go to MGXE and click on distant land generator and select all .esp files to generate. After that's done, I navigate to Wrye Bash and make sure all mods are there and green checked. I then go to the save game tab and sync up the mod order with the current mods I have installed. Pop into the game and a lot of the mods aren't working. the grass mods, the vurts mods, the vality mods for landscape all don't work when they have worked, I've seen them work before and now they just don't generate. I'm running windows 10, I have the game installed in my C drive directory and I have UAC completely disabled. I would also like to know what these exception.ovr files are for in the mge3 folder.

No they don't, only the grass mods and the trees that are supposed to be around molag mar from the vurts ashlands overhaul don't work. It does look like a lot of the landscape .esp mods do work even though I can't memorize what's supposed to be there in the base vanilla game so I can't really say with certainty but the balmora addon works and some others work. it just won't realize the grass and stuff. I must be missing something. I've seen them mods work before on my machine but the reason I went back and redid stuff is because the trees from the vurts ashlands overhaul around molag mar would disappear as I walked toward them. I don't remember what I did, I think I redid the whole MGSO mod options.

It looks like you have the grass mods in a separate subfolder of data files (eg data files/grass), have you set MGE XE to include that subfolder when it generates distant land? There should be a button saying something like 'plugin directories' that allows you to select subfolders for mods like the grass mods which need to have distant land generated but shouldn't be checked in wrye mash.

Not sure what's happening with the ashland trees near Molag Mar. It sounds like the distant land is being generated for something that's not enabled by an esp in game (maybe a conflict with another mod that removes the vanilla trees?).

I checked and if you click here https : // /6cbade8al /grass_location .png you can see what my DL generator looks like. so those grass ones at the bottom of that list, do I check all of them? I had to splice the url up because it wasn't giving me permission to post it.

Yea check them rerun generation see if it fixes it. And you can't post urls/links until you have ten posts.

In my override.ovr list, why would these be set to ignore? It seems like some grass works now, only that it's not being generated in distant land so it has a really short cut off view.
