Helloooo. I'm playing through Julan's mod for the first time, and it's fantastic, but I believe that i've encountered a bug with Shani. Probably.


I've had Shani as a follower for a long time, and I've taken Julan all the way through the main quest line. The problem is, for as long as I've had Shani, her greetings have never changed (Oh, Julan. Not dead yet, I see, etc.) and i haven't received any quests from her besides recruiting her. I'm thinking that I've maybe received a journal entry out of order, or something along those lines. Any advice that could guide me in the right direction here?

(and before you refer me to Emma's forum, I've already posted this there haha. I'm asking here because this forum is more active.)

Yeah, that's like... her very first greeting, she should have had many others. I'm confused, as I've not heard of this before. Did everything go smoothly with other quests, you didn't use any console codes or anything? Did you have the quest with getting her out of the abandoned mine? Talk to her in Vos? All that stuff? I mean, she's had other greetings at SOME point, right?

The only time that she's had another greeting was before I recruited her, when we went to Varro Tradehouse after Julan went missing. I believe that that quest is where I did something screwy. I didn't use the console, but I do remember Shani saying "You talked to Rakeem, right?" When I had no idea who that was. She let me continue on with the quest anyway.

I'm hopeful that maybe there'll be a way for me to just add a journal entry via console, but since the mod is so complex, maybe not. Sorry for breaking your mod.

Also I don't recall ever finding Shani in a mine.

It looks like you somehow broke part of Julan's main quest (though I'm not sure quite how)

No mods that interfere with the cavern of the incarnate, but I do run a lot of quest mods at once. Not sure. :/
