Going Berserk

I must say I never use racial powers anyway, but I recently rolled an Orc adventurer and tested out Berserk.

When you use it, you can't hit anything, and find it hard to stand. In theory, if you did hit anything, you'd be hitting it much harder, but since you can't ...

Is there a way to actually use this?

I've never actually used it. But you have me curious now. Why is it hard to hit things, and to stand?

If you have full stamina you can help your success of landing a blow, but you're still likely to get hit first.

I guess a high level character could make some powerful Fortify Agility enchantments to counterbalance the effect, but I've never experimented with it.

With a 100 point drain to your Agility, it makes hitting anything very difficult and you get knocked down very easy.

100 point drain on Agility. That's all of it, unless you artificially boost it. Any blow lands on you, you fall down.

I haven't been able to find the formula for "chance to hit" but at zero Agility, it appears to be zero, too.

Ah, I see now. That explains it. Thanks to both of you. :)

Hitting targets shouldn't be an issue. You lose 100 agility but you gain 100 points of attack buff. In other words, you lose about 25% (I think?) of accuracy but gain a whole 100% more. Not sure what else was in play to prevent him from hitting.
