I think that the kids came for anywere is the wastes, or else the LL would have been a ghostcave by now

It is a possibility, it's also a probability that the Big town residents have children and they are sent there, kind of like the ritual of sending the grown ups out of LL.

Theres no real reason for its continued existance. And the only possible explanation for it would the one about Big Town residents sending their young back there for "safety" reasons. And even then that excuse is a little... thin.
Unless of course LL only came into being in the last generation or so... But i dont see how thats possible either.

Posted: Thu Aug 13, 2009 6:53 pmI think one of the posters got it right when a developer watched one too many sci fi movies (Logan's run) and said, "hey this would be great for the game", but seriously they are kids from the inbred country folk in Point lookout. Ever wonder why there is only one kid at Point lookout ?? That's why, they pay Tobar to haul their annoying carcasses to the wastes.
