I do like yours, though. I don't think you're terrible with colors. I quite like that combination and from one of the back detail images it looks like it glows. That's even better :hehe:

Actually in the case of Fallout: New Vegas, they ARE producers. Obsidian (maker of kotor) is going to be the developer.

I do everything with paths and layers now, so changing colors/turning glow on/off is easy
Do you use Photoshop?

Still haven't gotten any official word about releasing meshes from DLC
I could always send the PSD or the textures and you could just load your mesh and add the glow paths to it.

but a producer still aint a publisher... btw obsidian did kotor 2... the not so good part (imo)

developer - creates the game
producer - supervises the devs and tells the devs what game to develope and how
publisher - prints the game on a dvd and sells it

the textures you can, as long as the models are not included (and vice versa. it has to have dependency on something)

What you COULD do, is release the textures with a tutorial on how to change the specular lighting (I think that's what you have to change) so it actually glows.

Actually it's adding a glow texture and adjusting the EmitMulti

For giggles I set the EmitMulti on one of my Glowy Creatures to 60,
I could see it halfway across the map and could barely look at the screen when I got close to it

That's an idea though Colonel, I could release the textures with the glow maps, and have them be optional,
as the people who would want to use the glow maps would have to use nifskope and add them.

Kind of a pain though, especially if there's a bunch of entries in the nif that need to have the glow path added.

actually Kotor 2 was amazing, but the PRODUCER rushed them, and forced an early release (hense the poo poo ending)

Uh, wut? You do realize that Obsidian is the remnants from Black Isle, right? The original team that made the Fallout series. No company I'd trust more to give it the old feel. (And I pray the change tag skills and books back to the old systems, my only complaints about FO3)

Yea I realize that, and I also realize that KOTOR 1 and 2 were EXTREMELY LINEAR.

There is a new hero in town! He was able to unite the Ant Antagonizer and the Mechanist and are now roawing around the wasteland picking down Molerats from trees and whiping the floor with Feral Ghouls!
