I remain neutral. If fallout 4 or even if for some odd reason bethseda made a multiplayer for fallout 3. That'd be cool. But if they don't Oh wellz.

Single player all the way. You're thinking of Borderlands... a fantastic shooter I might add.

I didn't even think Bethesda should have gotten rid of the mysterious fog that always hung over Morrowind, im a svcker for things staying the way they were. (Combined with hard to climb mountains, made the whole place feel huge, too.)

That's why I get the PC version. I can mod it to my liking.

Edit:

Excellent game. If you want a multiplayer FPS with vehicles with a post-apocalyptic feel, I highly recommend it.

I can't imagine how much atmosphere would be ruined by multiplayer in a Bethesda game.

It would probably suffer in the same as NwN did with its fetch quests. You'd get those droll regulars who join up, power up, and know the game backwards. They'd sit around using the game as a glorified chat room whilst holding onto a key item so that a quest couldn't be completed to move the game on. I suppose it depends on the server setup for multiplayer. Fallout 3 would turn into Neverwinter Nights because it has the GECK. So even if there were armour and weapon restrictions for certain servers like for RP, you could probably bypass them by creating your own, as with NwN. Things like decorating your home and stuff you'd probably do offline, with the save from the multiplayer game you were having. I played with a lass in Michigan who was a random contact on Messenger, all through Neverwinter Nights and its EPs, and it was her first go on an RPG. Was good fun.

As somebody said in the other thread, having a mulitplayer option on a single player game would just draw in more of a crowd, because not having it can put some players off. As long as the single player element has had as much attention as FO3has had, and the muliplayer was lacking because it had been pasted onto it, I wouldn't mind so much. As long as it worked. Done properly it would be okay, and if you could find a decent group of players. The thing about that is though, that group is generally people you know, so you had may as well just set up a LAN game. lol

Do you know how many gallons of gas it costs to buy a gaming computer, especially for just three games?
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
And a lot, by the way, for those who don't drive a gas guzzler.

By computer is pretty crappy, yet I can run Fallout 3 on High settings with all sorts of texture mods. Although, with the economy, it isn't the best time to buy a pre-built computer.

DIY saves money. Can build a decent rig for the price of a console. Assuming you have a TV with HDMI input for your card and what not, to save money on the monitor front.

I've never known any words about anything technology. Since the N64 and all, i've been blessed. Plug in, put cartridge in, play.

Then they start making games multiplayer compatible, and charge $$$ for it. Now where have we gone, game designers.

True... thats why I build mine. :brokencomputer: I built my computer 4 years ago and it can run fallout3 just fine. A gaming computer is a good investment, you can play all your older games and don't have to buy a new console each time a new one comes out to play all the new games.

Yep, building your own computer is the best way to go.

My computer runs Sim City 4 really good. and thats it. I cant have anything else installed, and I dont really have a burning desire to install anything else, either, i'm not that much of a gamer outside of Morrosoft, I mean, gamesas.

Edit: Did anyone else notice how badly off topic we are (cars, gas and building gaming computers). We should probably gear towards going back to the OP's topic so we don't get yelled at by the moderators.

No, it would svck.

Someone is working on a mod for that. Still, it would ruin everything.

"LOLZ YOU WANNA PL4Y TEH FALLAUTS!!!ONE!??1"

"YA LOL, LEZ KILLA 'EM!LOL!".

No thank you. All Bethesda games should stay single player.

It took me 12 hours to realize that were talking about multiplayer in Fallout 3, which is actually in the rules as a "lockable" topic.

Theres an official topic on multiplayer somewhere, and i'll find the link.
