Do you already finish Anchorage simulation? Which version of FOOK - Anchorage.esp you use? The latest one?
I don't have problems with this ESP when level-up, but I don't make simulation for now

I haven't even touch the simulator in my current character. But i do had visited the outcast base, but decided not to enter the simulator and wanders off to the wasteland.
I use the one that i've downloaded on nexus recently (Before they moved the DL link to fookunity.com), which have a filename of FOOK_-_Anchorage_quick_fix-4448.rar. I don't know what version is this file.

well another glitch here.

Tesla Cannon dosn't seem to have any sounds and is incredibly underpowered compared to the videos we saw.

I forgot to mention that my character is very evil.
Thought i should mention that since there are karma related crash in the past..

I'm having this same problem too. But it seems to be random. I already tested these using a FWE modified vanilla perk (Daddy's Boy), UPP perk (Controlled breathing), and two vanilla perks (Fortune Finder, Commando).
IE: Sometimes the game crash right after i select Daddy's boy and hit continue. Afterwards i would reload the game and select Daddy's Boy again. This time everything's fine. I can play normally and everything.
But then i would use advlevel console command, choose Daddy's boy again (I'm using FWE so Daddy's Boy has 5 levels) and hit continue then the game would crash. So i think it's random as i said..

EDIT:
I've found what is causing this problem! It's FOOK!
I disabled FOOK.esm, FOOK.esp, FOOK - Anchorage, FOOK - The Pitt & FOOK - Enclave Commander in fomm then levels up from 16 to 21+ (I use level up workaround mod) using advlevel crash free!

EDIT 2:
So i found this http://forum.fookunity.com/showthread.php?t=91 when i visited Fookunity.com forum.
I re-enabled FOOK.esm and all the other FOOK .esps except FOOK - Anchorage.esp, and.. yup! The crashing is gone.

Well I don't have FOOK and I have the problem anyway.

And it seems to be every time I try to level up since I reloaded the save a few times.

I found this in a different thread:

Problem Nr. 2:

The game crashes everytime you level up to level 21.

Solution: When the patch 1.5 has been released, I installed it at once. But when I looked at the version number of the game (in the setting menu of the game!), after the level up crash, it was still 1.4!

So I installed the patch again (and the checked the version number again, now it is 1.5!) and now I can level up normally!

So is it possible that patch 1.5 has something Fake Patch hasn't got and that causes the problem?

Gonna take a guess that's if you bought it off GFWL? My store bought copy never had any of that annoying crap. :\

Anyway, just did a full reinstall back to 1.0.0.15 w/ FakePatch, still no exp past lv20. Really curious as to what can be done about this, cause no mod seems to be causing it. Like I said, GECK shows lvl cap at 30, and I can level to 30, just not via normal means. This is with a completely new character that I just escorted out of the Vault.

[edit] Curiouser and curiouser. I got a wild idea to check iMaxCharacterLevel ingame, and it's registering 20 still. What in the name of hell? >:o Why does the GECK recognize it as 30, but game continues to claim 20?

i have something on the levelup crash issue.

I have the exact same issue.

However, i noticed that as long as i dont put skill points into energy weapons, i wont crash.

Now....as for my problem:

When i level up to past 20, i do not have a karma title. My save just says (null) where the karma title should be. (I am also evil). Loading any save with this bugged title will crash the game.

Sounds less like a "you need 1.5" issue, and more like you need to redownload BS. Sounds like your version is broken

Bad carma, huh? I remember there was some carma-related bug, which prevent leveling after 20 before the last content. Beth claim they fix it
Are you sure you don't have mods, which allow avoid old level cup?

So yeah, no idea what messes with the setting, but somewhere along the way the iMaxCharacterLevel gets reset back to 20. Attached the lv30 change to RemapWaterType mod and ta-dah! Cheap dirty hack of a fix, but feh, I'm running that mod to be 1.5 compliant anyway.

Btw Justin, is there any negative effect of keeping that esp running for other characters not on BS yet? Doesn't seem to do anything but comment the script and change the look of the water, can't forsee any issues.

I'll try that then as I was putting points into energy weapons when I crashed.
If it works I'll report back but it's not really a very satisfying solution even if it does work since I wanted to max out my energy weapons.
Maybe through the console if you can raise skills with it?

Anyway, what does this karma-related bug do?
I haven't heard of it before.

Just did a quick test... I'm having the same issue with the power works... I noticed that the model's collision was still there... but the model itself was invisible... What could cause this....

EDIT: I had an old version of Broken Steel. I'm redownloading now, to see if that was the issue.

It's caused by the bugged version. My friend had it as well, I took a look to see if I could tell why. It's a rooms/portals issue from what I can tell.

Well, I have this issue with both 1/5 and 1.0
But I am not sure about version of my Broken Still, becouse I live in Russia and don't have possibility to buy DLC
