Greetings Everybody!

I am looking for a quest in Fallout 3, where the NPC during the quest bumps/falls and dies, while walking. As I know it starts on a ship. If anybody encountered this quest, let me know, please.

Can you remember anything else that might help? I'd like to help, but this doesn't ring a bell. I've seen characters fall and die, but I think it was in random encounters.

Edit: Could be suicidal mr. Lopez at Rivet City? It's an unmarked quest called Suicide Watch.
