Ok, I guess that could describe the mutants or the several behemoth mutants, but I've never heard of a "master"

I think you may want to have this topic moved to the Fallout Series General Discussion, rather than the Fallout 3 Cheats, Hints, And Spoilers Section. Oh and no I do not believe you can become the Master, the benefits are being dipped in some "gooey green stuff" and having everyone in Vault 13 slaughtered, all thanks to you. Yes I spoiled the ending, but we are in a Spoilers section... :deal:

Well now that we are in the right section...It can still be pretty fun doing stuff for the Master and seeing the ending, but svcks being dipped in vats (I think that's what it's called, I don't beleive it's the FEV, I could be wrong though.)

I'm pretty sure they where just dipped, not slaughtered.

Oh, and it's FEV you're dipped in, the "vats" only refer to the canisters holding it.

If you're talking about Fallout 1, you can actually refrain from killing the Master and opt to join him instead. But the game ends there and the only benefit is that you'll be treated to a different End Movie.

Nah. I'm not really sure what oblivifaller means by "doing the quests he gives you" or if he even means the Master in Fallout 1. Because as I said before, if you don't kill him and pick the dialogue option of joining him, the game just ends with a different movie.

The option to become a super mutant and play as one of the Master's soldiers was actually planned for Fallout 1, but was cut because of time constraints.

you can agree to help him, and then you get the "Bad Ending" video clip (the folks getting Dipped)... Game Over.

Oh yeah, I did that. Then reloaded and killed the Lieutenant.
