think I was there for the origional one of these discussions. This one dude looked at the genetic viability of 1 man 999 women and the other way around. Also the dude took 500-500 in a closed environment and even that was not many generations before inbreeding became a problem. maybe someone can look it up if they are interested. Of course my solution for this is varied sperm banks and artificial incimination a la vault city (the ai part, they had six for recreation not reproduction).
