Life Expectancy before the war

I read this quote on the fallout wiki page for the Sole Survivor

"In 100 years, when I die, I hope I go to hell just so I can kill you all over again you piece of [censored]."

The info on the wiki says the the sole survivor is ~30 years old.

I personally haven't or at least don't recall hearing this line, but I was wondering about the life expectancy of pre-war americans. Obviously with the advances in medicine as well as what was learned from horrible sciences that involve tampering with human DNA, genetics, implanting, splicing, cybornetics, tissue cell growth excelorating steroids, etc. the life expectancy of the average person before the great war would be much greater.

So I was just wondering if anyone else knows of any sources that give us any info on the matter, such as logs on a research terminal.
